*THE STORM GOT CLEARED AS PRINCE OBINNA VINCENT OGBONNAYA OKORO CONGRATULATE AND HAIL EZE AROCHUKWU, HRM EZE MAZI GODWIN KANU IDEI KANU OKORO OKE.* 

The desire of every family or community is to enjoy peace, genuine peace. It propels developments and security of lives and properties. The crowning of Eze Aro on Friday, 20th October, 2023 was without deep rooted rancour planted by joykillers and middlesome interlopers.  These ones imported political fued into hitherto a peaceful ruling family. They desired to drop names and earn unmerited mileage hoping to escalate issues that doesn't exit. They found themselves playing rugby that's alien to them while fanning the embers of war. They are the real enemies of Arochukwu Kingdom. 

Recall that it's the exclusive prerogative of the Kanu Okoro Oke Nnachi Family made up of three Ruling Houses to produce Eze whenever the need arises. They ought to and usually select an Eze and present for the necessary rituals to follow suit.  The three families are:

1. Asi eko Oke Ruling House

2. Kanu Okoro Oke Ruling House 

3. Oji Okoro Oke Ruling House.

Before the *Selection* and finally strange *Election* by middlesome image tainted Okennachi Kindred headed by one Mazi Udo Chijioke as PG and Mazi Nkem Okoro as Home Branch Chairman, they sold various dummies of same promises to the Princes. The delay in reaching consensus amongst the Princes was their inability to meet. 

Prince Mazi Godwin Kanu Idei Kanu Okoro oke stood for the Kanu Okoro Oke Nnachi . The Asi Eko Oke Ruling House had no candidate as Obiora Ogbonnaya Okoro refused to come. Oji Okoro Oke was captained to the match by Prince Pastor Nwamazi Eberechukwu Eni Kanu Oji. In fact,  this Ruling family also presented Oke Kanu Oji Okoro Oke. The choice was narrowed to Prince Godwin Kanu Idei Kanu Okoro Oke and Pastor Nwamazi Ebere Eni Kanu Oji. Technically speaking, there was no contest and shouldn't have been as Pastor Ebere is Nwamazi meaning the father is still alive. *Realistically, Nwamazi cannot be Eze Arochukwu.* Another thing that worked against him were his refusal to go to Awada Aro Shrine because of his Pastoral Status. The gods rejected him and accepted Prince Godwin Kanu Idei Kanu Okoro Oke hence his crowning as the 9th Eze Arochukwu which transformed him to become HRM Eze Godwin Kanu Idei Kanu Okoro Oke. Nwamazi Pastor Ebere began protesting to the extent of recruiting idle souls in government of Abia State to change age long culture and traditions of our beloved Kingdom 

Today, the entire controversy was laid to rest, wagging tongues were caged, factless fighters were retired and busibodies were permanently buried. Today, the deciding Prince, the Arianzu himself (son of the last Eze Aro and title designate who ceded his position of Arianzu to his Uncle showed up like a trojan exhuming life, intelligence and wisdom. Today Prince Obiora Vincent Ogbonnaya Okoro showed up and proudly in the full glare of the people congratulated, hugged and gladly endorsed His Royal Majesty,  Eze Mazi Godwin Kanu Idei Kanu Okoro Oke. His presence made the difference by putting paid to unnecessary dissipation of energy  by gatecrashers and their wisdom starved supporters. Before the score was 1:1 and gave room for beer parlour debates and unfortunate intruders. Today the tension soaked game was 2:1 at the blast of the final whistle in favour of *His Majesty HRM 2:1 Pastor Ebere* The decider prayed for our new Eze. They snapped pictures, ate together and discussed issues of common interests.

Umu Aro, today peace returned in Arochukwu as we now have one indisputable, undivided and unanimous Eze Aro. Restoration of our sociocultural and socioeconomic landscape is activated.
