A US-based politician from Abia state, Mr. Yemi Arua Arunsi, has emerged as the winner of the election for the chairmanship of the Republican Party in Davis County, United States of America.
Mr. Arua, a former US military officer, won convincingly at the county's convention, which was held yesterday, Saturday, April 15, to become the Republican Party's new
Chairman of Davis County.
He hails from Nkporo in Ohafia L.G.A. of Abia state and is the son of the state's first House of Assembly Speaker, former House of Representatives member for Ohafia/Arochuchukwu Federal Constituency, and former Commissioner of Utility, Rt. (Hon.) Prince Arua Arunsi.
